If there is an earthquake in Dalian, what would you do in order to survive?

“Earthquake!!!” What would you do if someone shouted? Where would you hide? Which part of your body should you cover? Would you panic? I’m sure you would probably know the answers to those questions above. However, if it really happens, you won’t be
able to remember or do those things.
Most people panic when there is an earthquake. That’s why people die a lot. Here are the tips I found on the Internet that you might want to know.
Desks, beds, tables… Those are the things you can hide under. However, they should be strong and have some space. Even if you are under the furniture, you still need to cover your head and neck.
If the news or the radio says that there will be an earthquake, you should always bring an earthquake kit with you. If you don’t have it, you should better buy one.
It is dangerous during the earthquake but also after the earthquake. You better check your house carefully! Check building damages, power lines, and then clean up the mass around buildings. However, the best way is to move to other house because it would take a lot of time to rebuild everything and recover those severe damages. So, you should move to somewhere else rather than just staying at home.
Always be prepared of earthquakes, especially if you’re living in an island, and always conduct earthquake drills with your friends or family.
